Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 July 2026

1. Who we are

Stayly ("Stayly", "we", "us") operates www.stayly.co.uk, a marketplace connecting people looking to book UK static caravan holidays ("Guests") with the individuals, businesses, holiday parks, and management companies who list caravans for stay ("Hosts"). By creating an account or using Stayly, you agree to these Terms.

[Company details to be completed: registered company name, company number, and registered office address for Stayly's legal entity.]

2. What Stayly is — and isn't

Stayly is a marketplace, not the owner or operator of any caravan listed on the platform. Every booking is a contract between the Guest and the Host directly. Stayly facilitates the search, booking, and (where the Host has connected Stripe) payment process, and provides the verification, messaging, and dispute-support tools described on our For Guests and For Hosts pages, but we are not a party to the accommodation contract itself.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to book a stay or list a caravan on Stayly.

4. Listing and hosting

Listing on Stayly is free — there is no subscription or upfront listing fee. Every host application is reviewed by our team before a listing can go live; we may reject an application or remove a listing that doesn't meet our standards, misrepresents the caravan, or breaches these Terms. Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listing (description, photos, pricing, availability) and for honouring confirmed bookings.

Stayly takes a commission on completed bookings, shown to Hosts as part of their payout calculation. Where a Host connects Stripe, payouts are calculated and paid automatically with commission already deducted. Where a Host arranges payment directly with a Guest, the Host is responsible for recording that payment accurately in their Stayly dashboard.

5. Booking and payment

When you book, your chosen dates are held for a short window while you complete checkout so they can't be double-booked. A booking fee is added to the total and shown clearly before you pay — it is never added after the fact. Online payments are processed securely by Stripe; Stayly does not store your full card details. Some Hosts also offer to arrange payment directly with you (bank transfer or cash) — where that's available, you'll see it as an option at checkout.

6. Cancellations

A held (not yet paid) reservation can be cancelled at any time before payment with no charge. Once a booking is confirmed and paid, cancellation terms are set by the individual Host and shown on the listing — Stayly does not set a single platform-wide cancellation policy, since terms vary genuinely by caravan and Host.

7. Verification

Host applications are reviewed by our team before listings can go live. Guests can optionally verify their identity (email, mobile, ID document, or payment card) from their account settings for a trust badge visible to Hosts. Verification reduces risk but does not guarantee the conduct of any Guest or Host — use judgement and our messaging tools to communicate before booking or accepting a booking.

8. Disputes

If something goes wrong with a booking, use Stayly's in-platform dispute tools first — most issues are resolved directly between Guest and Host through messaging. Where that doesn't resolve it, Stayly's support team can review a formal dispute raised through your dashboard.

9. Partner Programme

Partners earn commission by referring new Hosts to Stayly, under the terms shown on the Partner Programme page at the time of referral. Commission is calculated on genuine, qualifying bookings only — Stayly may withhold or reverse commission found to result from fraudulent or abusive activity.

10. Prohibited conduct

You must not use Stayly to post false or misleading listings, circumvent Stayly's booking or payment process to avoid fees, harass other users, upload content you don't have the right to use, or attempt to interfere with the platform's security or normal operation. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms.

11. Liability

Stayly provides the marketplace "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for the condition of a caravan, the conduct of a Guest or Host, or losses arising from a booking itself — that's the responsibility of the Guest and Host who entered into it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
